2008 [ beginning of the relationship]

 ” Hey, Caroline! You almost ready?” I yelled out. I was in the bathroom, doing my makeup. My bestfriend, Caroline, and I were getting ready for church.

” Yeah, almost.” she said, sounding like she was struggling with something.

I frowned and walked into the room. I bit my lip to keep from laughing. She was trying to button up some jeans that obviously didn’t fit.

” Uh, got anything I can borrow?” she said doing a slight smile.

I laughed and walked into my closet. I pulled out a nice, little, white dress.

” Here, wear this. Plus, they would rather you wear dresses than tight, ass skinny jeans!” I giggled.

” Haha, very funny.” she said rolling her eyes and slipping the dress on.

 We walked inside the church, and headed to the cafe that was there. At the cafe, alot of people our age hang around there. We always head there first.

” Caitlin, wait.” my little brother, Christian, said running towards us.

I rolled my eyes and turned around. ” Chrisitan, please go stay around Mom and Dad. Everytime you come in here, you always embarrass me.” I said.

” No, I don’t! I’m just as mature as you-” as soon as he said that, he knocked over a table that was set in there. I slapped my hand agaisnt my forehead.

” See what I mean!” I snapped at him. I rolled my eyes, and hid my face from everyone.

” Aye, man. You okay?” said an unfimilar voice.

I turned around. A guy about my age was helping Christian up. I looked at Caroline. I could tell we were thinking the same thing.

This boy was super cute.

I grabbed Christian’s other hand and helped him up, also. I tucked my hair behind my ear, tried to look as good as possible.

” Sorry, if he got in your way. He’s a little clumsy.” I said giving Christian an eye.

” Nah, it’s fine. I just decided to help him up because…well. You two weren’t doing anything.” he said rolling his eyes.

Freak, now he thought I was a brat.

” He’s my brother.” I said thinking he would understand more.

” Still rude.” he said.

I sighed and put my arm around Christian. ” Hey, I didn’t do it on perfect timeing. So what? I still love him. Isn’t that right, Christian?” I said bending down giving him a hug. Maybe that would change his mind about me.

But of course, Christian had to ruin it. He backed away from me.

” Uh, no? You were yelling at me on how I always embarress you?” he said frowning.

I gave him another eye. How could he.

” Anyways, man. I’m Justin.” the boy said shaking Christian’s hand. I immiditely pulled mine out.

” I’m Caitlin.” I smiled.

He just looked at my hand then looked at me.

” Oh, so now you give your hand out? Sorry, but I don’t need help up.” he said sarcastically.

I slowly pulled my hand away. I gave Caroline an I’m-totally-embarrassing-myself-infront-of-this-cute-guy look. She pursed her lips and shrugged because she didn’t know what to do.

” Look, Justin. You got the wrong first impression on-” he cut me off by talking to Christian.

I didn’t even bother. I rolled my eyes and linked my arm around Caroline’s and walked out the cafe before I try to make another stupid move.

” I swear, Christian DOES always embarress me!” I whined.

” I know, I know. We’ll put revenge on him later.” she said.

” How can I top him when he did the worst thing? Make me look like a total biatch infront of the cutest guys ever.”
